Jesus Loves Me

Jesus loves me;
night and morning
Jesus hears the prayers I pray,
and He never, never leaves me
when I work or when I play
- W. Carey

Baby Randall, mummy prays that you will learn to rely and trust God if there ever comes a time in the future when you feel weak and small.

'Little ones to Him belong,
They are weak but He is Strong.
Yes, Jesus loves me
Yes, Jesus loves me
Yes, Jesus loves me
The Bible tells me so'

Randall's first Music Trial Class

Brought Baby Randall to Kindermusik @ Tanglin Mall on 1 March 09. The May mummies got lobang for a trial class again so Randall's mummy (full of enthusiasm) signed Baby up thinking that he will enjoy the lesson much as he loves music.

The lesson began with a teacher (can't remember her name) singing a song that includes baby's name and an action item...she has a very lovely voice and Randall was mesmerized by her. So the only time he wasn't crying or clamping his hand on his cheek in fright or hanging on to me, was when she sang.

There were playing of simple musical instruments, like the shakers, the tamborine, the rain-maker etc.....and action songs. Randall enjoyed the shakers the most! :)

Overall, Baby Randall didn't really enjoy himself as much as the previous trial class at JWT.

As the school doesn't allow photos taking during the class and Randall was clinging on to me most of the other times, I only managed to take a few photos.

Model for Gardenia?

Saw this pic in my little sister's facebook album and find it very cute. Randall really look the part of a model for Gardenia bread! I wonder how many other products he modelled for...??

Randall's first gym class

A very nice mummy, Tera, introduced me to a trial class at JWT @ East gate. They currently have a promo for credit card members at 50% off the trial price of $39.00. How can I resist! The usual gym classes just cost too much. So on 31 Jan 09, Vincent drove me and Randall there. Parking was no problem at all as they have a basement carpark which was relatively empty that day.

The class started with some simple self introduction, then some exercises for the babies. As Randall wasn't used to the environment and was made to lay down face up, he was startled when one of the teachers suddenly pushed a elmo in front of him and started crying loudly. Those who know Randall know that he seldom burst out crying in fright. So that teacher cuddled him and did some massaging for him. I held that 'scary' elmo!

Some of the stations that we did:

Randall can't crawl yet, so he can only look on!

Uncle, u give me a while more, some time in the near future, i will be able to play on that station!

Last baby remaining in Mr Crab! and I believe he has no problem siting there for the next half hour.

Joyful Baby

Randall, you are so full of joy!
You bring laughter to those around you.
Mummy is so full of joy everytime I look at you.
Simple things make you happy! Just some silly noise from your Daddy makes you laugh!

With love,
Mummy

Baby Fell Sick - Bellyflu

Randall came down with bellyflu on 16 Dec 08 after catching it from one of the infants from his infantclass. It started with slight vomitting before bedtime. Mummy thought it was due to a new food given to him at too late (Silly mummy decided to let him try for the first time Bellamy organics oats porridge at 9pm on a weekday!).
Then when he woke up crying during the wee hours, we thought he was hungry and Daddy started feeding him. Who knows, he merlioned all his feed out and soiled a huge section of our bed.
Daddy and mummy had to change bedsheet at 5am with eyes still closed.
Then the stomach spasms began, and everytime it happens, Randall would cry. He also didn't have much appetite. In fact, he lost weight. He was 8+kg before this. He weighed only 7+kg by the time we brought him to see a doctor.

See his expression:
