My First Taste of Semi-solid

On 27 Oct, mummy decided to let me try my first taste of semi-solid though there are more than 2 weeks before I will be six months old. Mummy read that by six months, baby's natural store of iron will have been used up and milk alone cannot provide sufficient iron. She wants an early start so I can take my time to become accustomed to all these different textures and tastes!

My first taste - Applesauce from Gerber. Hee hee, I wasn't very used to it so I didn't want any more after just three tiny taste.

End up, the whole bottle was thrown away after sitting more than 4 days in the fridge.

Daddy feeding me my very first spoon of apple puree

I turned away after having tasted just a teeny bit of it! Its not milk!

Randall, you are five months old!

Teddy bear Teddy bear
Go upstairs
Teddy bear Teddy bear
Say your prayers
Teddy bear Teddy bear
Turn off the lights
Teddy bear Teddy bear
Say goodnight

Randall, this is one of the nursery rhymes that mummy sings to you. Learnt it from teacher Anna in your infant class.

You turn exactly five months on 18/10/08! You are a big boy now...
The teachers in your infant class likes to call you Kopi Boy as mummy loves to tuck a huge white hankie at your waist.

You are really such a lovely boy. Loves your smile and your loud chuckles.
You are beginning to recognise people.
Though you still can't do a full flip yet, mummy is happy to see you do a half flip!

Good morning Randall!
